Although we specialize in rooftop terraces, we occasionally take on interesting ground-level projects. This dramatic ravine lot in Hogg's Hollow Toronto has a private elevated cedar platform for entertaining, and a modernist playhouse hidden in the trees. An arbour and poolhouse/bar unifies the existing architecture.
Walk-outs from both the master bedroom and living room access a 400 sq. ft. west-facing roof garden. Cast boulders and inset planters with alpines suggest landscape and add drama to the background, which includes additional planters filled with a variety of evergreen and deciduous shrubs, vines, and perennials.
